Murphy’s Masonry is a commercial masonry contractor serving Toronto, Vaughan and the GTA, with a reputation for delivering excellence on large-scale masonry restoration projects. Property managers, condominium boards and commercial owners trust us because we bring dedicated crew power and real masonry expertise to every site, from a single elevation to a full building envelope.
We know commercial work runs on schedules, budgets and resident communication. We assess the masonry honestly, explain what needs to be done now and what can wait, and keep your team updated from the first site visit to the final walkthrough.
Whether you manage one building or an entire portfolio, we protect your investment with brick restoration, tuckpointing, mortar repair and waterproofing that is built to last through Ontario’s freeze-thaw cycles.
What We Do
Our commercial masonry services cover condominium towers, rental buildings, churches and institutional properties across Toronto and the GTA. From commercial brick repair to full facade restoration, our crews handle the exterior masonry work that keeps your building safe, watertight and looking its best.
Brick facade repair, spalling brick repair and structural brick replacement, through to full facade restoration built to withstand the elements and meet commercial building code requirements.
Mortar repair for deteriorated mortar joints: we remove failing mortar and repoint with clean, weatherproof joints that restore structural integrity and stop deterioration in its tracks.
Sealing brick walls and adding exterior moisture protection to help multi-unit and commercial buildings resist water infiltration and severe weather damage.
Historic brick repair and heritage masonry restoration for churches and older buildings, plus chimneys and parapets, matched to the original brick and mortar wherever possible.

11-Unit Apartment Building
“Ruairi and Murphy’s did that and more, delivering very good work on a two story 11 unit mid-century apartment building. Whether it is the office staff, the owner, or the mason they were all easy to talk to, good listeners, knowledgeable, honest and made it a much easier process.”

7-Storey Condo Building
“They did an outstanding job demolishing and rebuilding our fire wall — a complex task that required both skill and careful planning. … In addition to the fire wall rebuild, they also completed spot repairs throughout our 7-storey building, and the quality of their work truly shows.”

FAQ
Can’t find what you’re looking for? Call us or send a quick message and we’ll get back to you.
Yes. We regularly work with property management companies, condominium corporations, rental building owners, churches and institutions across Toronto and the GTA. We can meet with your manager or board on site, provide a clear written scope, and keep everyone updated throughout the project.
We work on condominium and multi-unit residential buildings, rental properties, retirement homes, churches, clubs and other commercial and institutional buildings. If the building is brick, block or stone, we can assess it.
Both involve removing deteriorated mortar from the joints and replacing it with new mortar. Repointing restores the joint; tuckpointing adds a finishing technique that gives crisp, clean joint lines. On commercial buildings, timely repointing is one of the most effective ways to stop water getting into the wall.
Spalling usually happens when water gets into the brick and freezes. As it expands, the face of the brick breaks away. Failing mortar joints, missing sealant and poor drainage often let that water in. We replace the damaged brick, repoint the joints and fix where the water is getting in, so the problem doesn’t keep coming back.
